Obligations

Summarizing, the artists are expected to:

• be in Vättis and the surrounding area during the agreed period
• be amendable to the exchange with local inhabitants, guests and tourists
• realize their art project and, depending on the agreement with the association, do that publicly on certain fixed dates and times
• engage with the public about art (opening and closing festivities, workshop, ...) and with (part of) the school pupils.

The artists will themselves take care of visa, stay permit and work permit although the association will support the process of getting these as much as possible. The artists will also themselves take care of insurance against illness, accidents, liability etc. After accepting the invitation, the artist will conform to the project plan they sent in with their application, unless there is a written agreement with the association saying otherwise.

The final invitation will contain a brief agreement concerning these issues and list the obligations of the association, depending on each individual project.
